Colin McLean, FSIP, Founder and Managing Director, SVM Asset Management Ltd

Founder and CEO of SVM Asset Management, an independent Edinburgh-based fund management group specialising in UK, European & Global equities.
Colin is a former member of the CFA Institute Board of Governors and a Fellow of CFA UK. He is also a Chartered Fellow of CISI and a Fellow of the Institute & Faculty of Actuaries. He is Honorary Professor at Heriot Watt University, lecturing in behavioural finance, and guest lecturer at a number of universities. Colin has served on public and private for-profit and not-for-profit boards for many years, and completed courses on High Performance Boards and Making Company Boards Effective at IMD (Lausanne) and Harvard, respectively.
Colin is a regular contributor to financial publications and guest on BBC TV & Radio, and Bloomberg TV & Radio. He is a frequent conference speaker on investment, hedge funds and behavioural finance.
